Anything that does not fit into our own production, such as very large castings or forgings and special processes, we realise through our international manufacturing network, with MWA as your permanent point of contact.
How do the parts get to you?
- with our own vehicle, especially for customers within reach of Halberstadt,
- by freight forwarder – we load large and heavy parts onto trucks by crane,
- by parcel service for smaller parts, throughout Germany,
- as collection in Halberstadt by prior appointment.
Please let us know whether unloading equipment such as a crane or forklift is available at the delivery location. We agree on the appropriate shipping method with you depending on the component and deadline.
Which components do we manufacture?
MWA manufactures to drawing regardless of industry. What matters is the drawing, material and requirements, not the industry. Typical components are machine beds, housings, welded assemblies, castings, flanges, rings, shafts and milled parts machined on several sides – as single parts, prototypes or series.
Which materials do we machine?
We machine structural steel, quenched and tempered steels and case-hardening steels such as 42CrMo4 and 18CrNiMo7-6, grey cast iron, ductile cast iron, cast steel, stainless steels up to duplex 1.4462, aluminium, titanium, bronze and brass. How do we ensure quality?
- inspection of all components before delivery and a measurement report on the characteristics of your drawing,
- first article inspection report (FAI) on request,
- material certificates according to EN 10204 (2.2 or 3.1),
- traceability of material and manufacturing,
- quality management according to ISO 9001, EN 9100, EN 9120 and ISO 14001.
