Our third business area is contract brokering. Company history

1985

MWA GmbH - Mechanische Werkstätten Anhalt in Halberstadt was founded in 1985 with the main objective of manufacturing high-quality metalworking products on a contract basis. In the early years, the company focused on the machining of metal parts, especially turning and milling. With a strong focus on quality and precision, the company became a reliable partner for many German industrial companies.

1990

In the 1990s, MWA GmbH expanded and added raw materials trading to its range of services. In the face of increasing globalization and demand for metal raw materials, the company recognized the opportunity to offer its customers not only manufacturing services, but also the procurement of raw materials. Through close partnerships with mine operators and metal traders around the world, the company was able to offer a wide range of materials, including steel, stainless steel, aluminum and titanium.

2000

In the late 2000s, the company made another important strategic expansion and began contract brokering. With its extensive knowledge of manufacturing processes and its extensive network in the industry, the company was able to match companies that needed manufacturing capacity with suitable manufacturing partners. This service has contributed to increased efficiency in the industry and furthered the company's growth and diversification.
